OPEN POSITIONS

Berkshire United Sports Camp is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Lacrosse Coaches, Soccer Coaches, Field Hockey Coaches, Ice Hockey Coaches, Volleyball Coaches, Golf Coaches, Camp Counselors, Photographers, Videographers, and Residential Assistants.

  • Guide and motivate young campers in a specific sports (Volleyball, Soccer, Field Hockey, Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, or Golf), fostering their skills and team spirit, while also providing support and a memorable camp experience.

  • Capture the magic of camp life through stunning visuals, preserving precious memories for campers and their families with your creative lens and storytelling skills.

  • Be a positive role model, guiding and supervising campers, facilitating engaging activities, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for memorable summer experiences

WHAT TO EXPECT

Camp life is structured, energetic, and demanding. Personal and professional responsibility is key, as camp living involves close quarters. The work is challenging, but it's also incredibly rewarding, and the impact you make will be felt for a lifetime.

Days Off & Time Off
We want our team to be enthusiastic, happy about their work, and recognize the importance of taking some time off for rest and relaxation. You'll have access to camp facilities during your time off when not in use by campers. We offer a staff-only lounge complete with internet and TV, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center. For those interested, we organize staff trips to town. Each session, you'll receive one day off and an additional day off between sessions.

Staff Training
We set high standards for our team every summer, but we're equally committed to your personal and professional growth. Staff training begins at the start of the summer season, and we provide ongoing support throughout. A one-week staff orientation before the campers' arrival allows you to get to know your fellow staff members and prepare for the summer ahead. Our training covers various scenarios and situations you may encounter, ensuring you're fully prepared to provide a fantastic experience for our campers. By the end of orientation, you'll have a clear understanding of our perspective on camping and our expectations.
